Brooks Family | 2010 Women
Build Project
Women Build is Habitat’s volunteer program for women who want to learn construction skills and make a difference by building homes and communities. Women Build is not about excluding men, but including more women in construction activities. Women and men from diverse backgrounds have signed on to pick up hammers and power tools to help the Brooks family build their way to a better future. The homeowner-to-be is Pearlean Brooks, who will live in the home with her daughter Mariah and Mariah’s newborn son, Armond. |
