RESTORE VOLUNTEERS
If you are interested in
volunteering at the ReStore, please call the ReStore directly at
757-246-4955. The ReStore is located at 9614 Warwick Boulevard
(in the Hilton Shopping Center) in Newport News.
The ReStore is our Building Materials Warehouse, which accepts
donations of new and gently-used building materials. Please visit
our Habitat ReStore web pages for more information about hours,
donations, and staff. The ReStore is open to the public and we sell
all items at greatly reduced prices, usually from 50-90% below
retail. 100% of the profits from the ReStore are used to build more
homes in our communities.
With so many great donations coming in, we really need volunteers!
The ReStore needs volunteers Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.
and Saturdays until 5 p.m.. Volunteers in the ReStore handle a
variety of duties, including customer service, driver pick-up
and warehouse inventory/pricing.
OFFICE VOLUNTEERS
We do not currently have any office volunteer opportunities at this
time.
Our Habitat offices are open Monday – Friday from 9:00 a.m. – 4:30
p.m. and we can usually use help with volunteers who will make a
4-hour commitment at least once a week. Duties include answering
phones, filing, copying and soliciting donations. Our office is
located at 809 Main Street in Newport News. If you are interested in
